My Story

In 2016, our son Leo Phoenix was stillborn at term. His death has enabled us to learn more about the experiences that people have during and beyond pregnancy. We have since met many people who have needed to seek the support of ARC during pregnancy, and have to navigate the challenging conversations, choices and the reality of unexpected antenatal results. For some people, those choices include TFMR - an aspect of baby loss that is often not met with the required understanding or compassion. Knowing many who have navigated this choice, I wish to dedicate this swim to them, and especially for two little girls close to our hearts, Matilda and Neve. Please do consider support ARC to enable more families to be supported and for conversations to happen with greater ease for many families.
