Fundraising in memory of Ruby Jo KarimMy Story
I'm doing the Great North Run in September in memory of our Ruby. In March 2017 we found out our baby had trisomy 13 amongst other abnormalities which meant that she would either die while I was still pregnant (most likely as she had fetal hydrops really badly which meant she was struggling and also alobar holoprocencepaly and a cystic hygroma) we made the decision with medical advise to end our much wanted pregnancy. Unfortunately the way I was treat in hospital was disgusting and this is why I'm raising money for ARC who do training for hospital staff to make sure they treat bereaved parent's the way they should. They also provide support for parent's facing the horrible decision we had to make.
We have since gone on to have a beautiful rainbow baby River. But we will never forget or stop loving Ruby xx
