My Story

In 2017 our world got turned upside down when we went for our scan found out that our little peppercorn was unfortunately too ill for this world and we went through an impossible decision and lost our baby boy in September 2017.

Having been thrown into a situation that we didn’t understand and one that felt extremely dark and lonely, knowing that there was support from ARC helped us through. These situations are still very hard to talk about and often are pushed under the carpet. It has taken a long healing process to feel ready to be more open about our journey and to focus on giving something back to ARC.

ARC is a charity that offers support during the darkest of days and offers a network that is so important during a time where people often feel extremely alone. They are a small charity and since going through what we went through I have always wanted to make sure I could give back and raise whatever I can to make sure that anyone who needs them know they are there.

I am running a 10k on 22nd March which falls very close to what would have been peppercorn’s 2nd birthday and want to raise as much money as possible and any donations would be really appreciated.
