My Story

Hi guys.

It takes a bit to say this, but here we go...

I’m running the Bristol Half Marathon in September, and I’ve decided that I’d like to use it as an opportunity to raise funds for a charity to whom I owe a lot, and who I know could really use the support.

In January 2018 I took the difficult decision to terminate a pregnancy for medical reasons. It was a much-wanted pregnancy, and the decision not to go ahead with it absolutely devastated me.

Fortunately a marvellous charity named Antenatal Results and Choices were there to help me during some of the darkest moments I’ve ever encountered. They’re a charity that you’ll probably never be aware of unless you need them, but when you do need them they are an absolute lifeline. They do an amazing job of supporting mothers who have to make decisions that no mother should ever be faced with.

ARC do not receive government funding, so they rely on donations in order to continue doing their absolutely vital work.

I would like to be able to give something back to ARC for all the support and help that they gave me, and so that they can continue to help mothers who are in need of them. Please consider donating if you’re able.
